One of the major objectives of the Milepost Zero Bicycle club is to promote and advocate cycling in and around theWaynesboro area. In recent years we have had a growing number of members who have had an interest in playing a more active role as cycling advocates.
At the 1999 Winter Business meeting, the club formed a Bicycle Advocacy Committee which is investigating cycling related issues and how we as an organization can help influence decision making concerning these issues. The purpose of this webpage is to provide information about cycling related issues local and national and to urge everyone to take an active role in promoting cycling as a means of transportation and recreation.
