GUYS IT IS GETTING TOO DARK TOO EARLY! So we are starting NIGHT RIDES! Meet at the old Howard Johnson's parking lot on Afton Mtn. We will normally ride a 27+ mile out & back route to Moorman River Overlook on the Skyline Drive. The normal ride is 13+ miles in each direction,with harder climbing on the first part going to Moorman River Overlook. This is a slower paced ride and there are plenty of opportunities to stop & rest or to head back and cut the ride short. Bring your blinky tail lights and whatever front reflector or headlight you can scrounge up. These rides let you see wildlife and the pretty view of Waynesboro's lights. Come try it! If you have a National Park Pass, bring it. If not, don't worry, it only takes one pass to get in 4 folks and others will have passes. (If short on passes, we can head south on the parkway instead! Note: we had 7 riders the 1st night and 2 brave souls Thursday Night 10/14.2010. Please program this number: 800-732-0911 into your cell phone, it is the Skyline Drive emergency number. Same as Tuesdays! Meet at the old Howard Johnson's parking lot on Afton Mtn. Guys, break out the National Park passes (but one pass covers 4 cyclists so don't worry you need to buy one for yourself!). We want you to enjoy these fun rides with us!

No Scheduled Club Rides unless someone wants to set a schedule. Various riders at various levels normally park at Westwood School on Rosser Ave. and meet at 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. (to dark and cold to try 7:00 a.m. :-) any more!)
